ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

The panel of experts of each country looks around the follwing assessment criteria when judging the submitted PALL-X 96 objects.

Examples:

  • Wood from sustainable forestry
  • Solid wood floor instead of multi-layer wood floor
  • Repair of an old wood floor instead of demolition
  • Very old wood floor

Examples:

  • Herringbone with frieze and several wood species or mosaic parquet
  • Inlays
  • Laying patterns such as braiding patterns, old German association, herringbone etc.

Examples:

  • Requirements for lacquering due to the geometry of the room
  • Backlighting problems such as floor-to-ceiling windows, several glass fronts

Examples:

  • Before/After
  • Material selection matches the conditions on site
  • Is the floor and finish suitable for the application
  • Optical impression

Examples:

  • Small colored footprints in the children's room integrated into the sealing.
  • Floor and wall merge into each other
  • Room divider by floor frieze / other wood species or lay direction ...
  • Wood floor design is continued in the wooden staircase
  • Special material selection / combination

Examples:

  • Working on transitions
  • Laying pattern is continued under the glass furnace plate
  • Other components in the room
  • Solutions for expansion joints
  • Terrace and parquet flooring merge into one another
